Day 7. Friday 20th of July

The day started as usually, we all met for breakfast. Exept Elfa the assistant who had worked so hard that she had to sleep in that morning. After that we had this great finnish folk dancing. We all had so much fun running around in groups, trying out this new dance and listening to music that we are used to that.
After that the band had their rehearsals and at two o'clock the final rehearsal for all the bands were held. There was much excitement in the air however we Icelanders came fashionably late since we power walked to town to buy some snacks for the day. We didn't bother packing like we were supposed to do instead we all just mingled and waited for the big event...

The concert of all concerts "let's get musical". The concert was just excellent, the highlight of the concert was when one of the spanich guys sang "let me entertain you". He had this excellent Robbie Williams voice. We Icelanders also did well on the concert were Gudfinnur and Eyþór played base in one of the bands, Keli played the guitar and Dagny was in one of the singing groups. The concert ended with this ultimate song "we are the champions" were the whole hall sang togetgher. After the concert we all went for dinner, which was actually the best one we had for the whole week. Then we had our final night. Gudfinnur went for a sauna were the theme was "we are the champions of the sauna". Eyþór went for the international mingling with the Italians. And Keli got all so Finnish.

That is what is so great about this camp. You meet people from all over Europe and bond and get e-mail addresses with hope that we will all see each other again. There wasn¨t much sleeping during the last night because everybody had so much to talk about. We did our packing half an hour before the bus went since everybody were so tired after the big night. Now we are on the way to the airport, everybody are quiet in the bus and seem to be a bit sad leaving Finland.
For the whole, the week was excellent. However, the Pori jazz festival was of course the main highlight. We would like to thank the Finnish leaders for their tremendous effort in organizing and hosting this week. In conclusion, the moral of the finnish leadership is ,,to get of your ass and do stuff" and it got through to all of the groups since everybody participated this week.

With love and kisses...... Dagny the doll, Elfa the yndislega, Eyþór the shark, Iron- Gudfinnur and least and not last Keli the sex machine.
